Sales Regulations
Annual society breed Ram and Ewe Sale – is held each autumn and comes under the jurisdiction of the Auctioneers, but the society will call to their attention any entry in the catalogue of sheep as ‘registered’ to ensure that the Consignor will be informed.

The sales shall be confined to the disposal of Clun Forest Sheep, the property solely of members of the Society. A catalogue will be prepared in advance of the sale from particulars submitted to the society. The positions in the catalogue are in alphabetical order (Prize winning animals are not sold at the head of each class).

Ram and Ewe sales – are held on the same day. Each breeder must ensure that every animal sold outside of the breed sale has a clear family history provided with the animal to prevent inbreeding.

Show Regulations.
All sheep entered for society shows must be registered, tattooed or tagged with the Flock Designation, the year and individual number (except lambs). All sheep to be shown undyed/coloured.
