It is so good to see the Clun Forest being represented all over the country; in the last fortnight we've seen; Mike Eckley take Champion at Burwarton in the Clun Forest Classes, well done to all the competitors who represented the breed including the brilliant young (and more senior!) handlers from the Beech family and to Kira Newey winning the ewe class In the West Country, the Burrough mother and daughter team continued their triumphant run with their homebred ram lamb taking champion in the AOB section at Honiton following their Interbreed success at North Devon a few days prior Meanwhile in the North, another mother/daughter team in Sue Tyson and Rach Elizzabeth took reserve champion lowland at Garstang Show with their Aged ewe whilst Paul Murray took reserve champion at Cockermouth Show with his aged ram. Finally Andrew Fisher triumphed at Aldborough and Boroughbride taking the AOB section and the overall Interbreed with his shearling ewe! If we've missed you off please let us know, there are so many great people out showing their brilliant Clun Forest Sheep we can't keep up but we would love to shout about it! ps we can't get enough good photos so please send those across too
