THE CLUN FOREST SHEEP BREEDERS SOCIETY

RAM OF THE YEAR TROPHY

The Gerald Vaughan or Ram of the Year Trophy was presented in 1970  for the Single Ram that gained the most points at designated shows each year by the late Gerry Vaughan of the Abcott Manor Flock, Clungunford, Shropshire.

The 2022 shows that points can  acquired are:
Bath & West, Three Counties, Royal Welsh, Burwarton & Great Yorkshire Shows

FEMALE OF THE YEAR

The Laidlaw Cup or Female of the Year Cup was presented by Val & Derek Laidlaw of the Saltersford Flock, Melrose in 2000.  As with the Ram of the Year Trophy it is for the Single Female that gains the most points at the designated shows.
The 2022 shows that points can  acquired are:
Bath & West, Three Counties, Royal Welsh, Burwarton & Great Yorkshire Shows

EXHIBITOR OF THE YEAR TROPHY - Clun Classes

The Lt.-Col.R.H.Palmer Trophy or Exhibitor of the Year Trophy was presented in 1971 by Rodney Palmer of the Peasemore Flock, Newbury, Berkshire.  It was given for the Flock master who gained the most points in the Clun Classes the designated shows.  In 2022, those shows are Bath & West, Three Counties, Royal Welsh, Burwarton and Great Yorkshire Show.

EXHIBITOR OF THE YEAR - Any Other Breed Classes

The Court-Llacca Cup or Exhibitor of the Year A.O.B. Section was presented in 2015 by the Eckley Family of the Court-Llacca Flock, Brecon, Powys for the Exhibitor that gains the most points at any agricultural show in the United Kingdom where Clun's are entered in the Any Other Breed or similar classification.
