The Three Counties Show returned in glorious June sunshine and along with it were the oldest Clun Classes in the UK. There were 4 exhibitors and each one took home a red rosette. The Aged Ram and Ram Lamb Class were won by the Meredith Family who have recently cut back on their sheep due to ill health in the family. The Shearling ram and Aged Ewe Class was won by Anna Pennell. The Shearling Ewe Class was won by Andrew Fisher and the Ewe Lamb Class was won by Faye Hendrie. The Male and Breed Championship was won by Anna Pennells Homebred Shearling Ram who went on to win the Reserve Native Interbreed on Day 2. The Female Championship and Reserve Breed Champion went to Andrew Fishers Shearling Ewe. With the Reserve Male Championship going to Merediths Family Pixie Bred Aged Ram and the Reserve Female Championship to Anna Pennells Aged Ewe.

Wow what brilliant results from Claire and Chloe Burrough from the Burroway Flock at Royal Bath & West over the last few days.
Competing in the Any Other section they took both the Overall section Champion with their Ewe lamb but also reserve champion with their ram lamb. They also took wins with their shearling ewe and aged ewe However they weren’t finished there, not only did they take Reserve Native Interbreed Champion, they also won the Native Group of 3 sections and Reserve Overall Interbreed group of 3 Amazing results putting our brilliant breed at the top of the tree yet again Now the show season is kicking in, please don’t hesitate to let us know how you do, we love to shout about it The Market place has been updated with shearling ewes for sale - see here
